Friday SHELFie #8

Here we are one week into May. The weather is getting better and new book releases are reeling in. So far this week I've read two books. The first was Hello, I Love you by Katie Stout. The book was O.K., but it was an easy read so I didn't mind it so much. It's a YA novel about an American high school student who opts to spend her senior year abroad. Her chosen destination was South Korea. There she meets a KPOP star who she falls in love with, but just isn't sure if he feels the same way.

The second novel I read was amazing. Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel is probably one of my favourite books this year. It's a story of a post apocalyptic society where the focus is on what happens after they have survived.

Reviews for both will be up soon. As for this weekend, I've got a couple books on the go and I'm also hoping to catch up on my Ms Marvel and Captain Marvel comics. So, we'll see how it goes.

What are you reading this weekend?
