These are a few of my favourite things...Top Picks from 2015

If you had asked me at the beginning of 2015 whether I thought I would be able to read 50 books in a hear, I would've told you that you were crazy. To my surprise, I managed to enjoy over 65 books ranging from young adult novels to memoirs. I also tried to read more Canadian literature by participating in Random House Canada's Reading Bingo. I crossed off 13 of 24 squares. Definitely more than I thought I would get through. You can check out my Bingo card here.

Of the books I read, there were certainly a few that stuck out and graduated to my favourites pile. I tried to keep it to my top 5, which turned into 10, then ended with 15. The books are simply in the order that I read them. There's a book in this list for every reader and I highly recommend each one.

Did any of my top reads make it to your list? Feel free to let me know in the comments.

  1. I've been dying to read and get a copy of Nimona for quite some time now but to no avail. Our local book stores here in the PH still don't have it and it sucks so much. :( However, I have read Red Queen and had the most fortunate opportunity to meet Victoria Aveyard this March! Hope you get to meet her too if you haven't! :) Oh, and here's a recap of Aveyard's signing! http://bookfreakrevelations.wordpress.com/2016/03/10/event-recap-11-victoriaaveyardinph/

  2. I must recommend reading the book The Girl on the Train: A Novel.
I finished reading it today, and I think its a very good book.

I ordered mine from Amazon and I got it in just TWO days.
Here's a link for the book on Amazon:
